Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician Location: Amherst, OH (Primary) + Toledo, OH (Satellite) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Wed until 5-6 PM) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Orthotic & Prosthetic Fabrication Technician to support the production of custom prosthetic and orthotic devices. This role works closely with clinicians to fabricate, modify, and repair patient-specific devices, ensuring high-quality outcomes and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, modify, finish, and repair prosthetic and orthotic devices Perform laminations, vacuum forming, trimming, alignment, and finishing Interpret clinician work orders, casts, measurements, and digital scans Conduct bench alignments and quality checks prior to fittings Maintain shop safety standards, equipment, and clean work environment Track materials, components, and assist with inventory management Document builds, repairs, and materials for traceability and billing Support quick turnaround times while maintaining quality standards Assist with minor patient-side adjustments under clinician supervision Qualifications 3+ years of orthotic/prosthetic lab or related fabrication experience preferred Strong hands-on skills with laminations, plastics, metals, foam, and tools Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Team-oriented with strong attention to detail Experience with CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or digital scanning (preferred) ABC Technician certification (preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Benefits 401(k) with employer match Health insurance + HSA options Paid time off and holidays Parental leave Professional development & continuing education support Career growth opportunities
