Job Description Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients thoroughly and create personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional aspirations Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily habits Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide thorough, well-rounded care Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide instruction to patients and families on techniques that will support their ongoing progress outside of therapy Monitor and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical results and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure that patients remain on their path to recovery Education Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
