Position Overview One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Otolaryngologist for 24-hour call coverage in a high-acuity hospital setting . This assignment offers structured 7-day call blocks with predictable volume , subspecialty support, and a balanced mix of consults and urgent procedures. Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~20% of ENT locum call coverage roles (2026 market data) Assignment Highlights 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) Structured 1-week blocks per month Trauma Level 1 facility Call ratio: 1:4 Average callback: 4-6 hours/day Support staff: Plastics onsite Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery available (offsite) EMR: Epic Adult + pediatric patient population Travel reimbursed per policy Malpractice insurance covered HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency Job Responsibilities Provide 24-hour ENT call coverage Evaluate inpatient and ED consults Perform emergent ENT procedures Manage airway and trauma-related ENT cases Coordinate care with surgical and specialty teams Document all care in Epic Skills & Experience Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology Active Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain) Minimum 1 year experience Trauma experience preferred Comfortable with emergency ENT procedures
