Overview Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Over-the-Road) Class A Driver and take your driving career to new heights! In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our logistics operation, responsible for safely transporting freight across long distances while maintaining excellent customer service, ensuring timely deliveries and satisfied clients. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across regional and national routes, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws Safely load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary Drive a dry truck to deliver goods efficiently Manage route driving plans to optimize delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit Experience Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a focus on long-haul or OTR routes using Class A tractor-trailers Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently Familiarity with handling various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Previous delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving logistics Knowledge of freight handling techniques and safety protocols for transporting sensitive or hazardous materials such as tankers or refrigerated goods Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record and endorsements relevant to the trailer types handled Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo Embark on an exciting career where your driving skills propel you forward!
