Overview Drive a Semi Truck with a 48ft flat or 53ft flatbed from Houston to North Dakota area and return to Houston 4-5 days out. Off two days and go again. 2-3 Years experience with flatbed. Ready to work/ Responsible. keep you busy every week. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbed, refrigerated, tanker, and other specialized trailers across long-distance routes Load and unload freight efficiently using proper techniques; may include handling freight with forklifts or roll-off trucks Secure cargo properly on flatbeds and ensure compliance with safety regulations during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards and report any issues promptly Follow designated routes and schedules diligently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or delays Assist with loading or unloading freight as needed, ensuring accuracy and safety during handling Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks comfortably Experience driving flatbed trailers, refrigerated units, tankers, or similar equipment preferred Knowledge of load securement techniques for flatbed freight and specialized cargo such as refrigerated or tanker loads Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklift or other equipment when necessary Strong understanding of route planning, delivery procedures, and safety protocols for long-haul trucking Prior delivery driver experience with a focus on freight handling, load securing, and route driving is highly valued This role offers an energetic environment where your skills drive success!
