Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across long distances with precision and professionalism. In this role, you will operate a 26 foot freightliner box truck. Your expertise in driving and load management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Duties Safely operate box truck across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Manage route driving logistics to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Qualifications Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; previous delivery driver experience is highly valued - at least one year of related driving experience necessary. Recent CDL graduates welcome. Local driver experience with companies like FEDEX/UPS or others also welcome. (all reported work history will be checked to avoid fraud resumes. Ability to stay out 10-14 days with home time planned into schedule. If you don't make money, we don't make money. Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like lift gates safely when loading or unloading freight Strong understanding of route planning and navigation tools for efficient delivery routes Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety standards and regulations. Pay 20 percent of all loads. 1099 contract. bonus earned for staying out 2 - 3 - 4 weeks respectively, each week. so pay can climb pending time given. percentage increase after 3, 6 and 12 months. up to 5k (match) towards CDL school or own truck after 12 months of service. we match what you save. you bring 5k to the table, it's now 10k and you can get your own truck and lease on, start your own business or go to CDL school or do a combination of all. Additional training will be provided for great candidates to allow driver to meet company expectations. As this is an at-will state, any deviation from the values of the company or the expectations set upon initial hire will result in the driver being let go immediately.
