We’re looking for energetic, friendly, punctual, dependable, and quick-learning individuals to join our Adventure Park team as Zipline and Adventure Tower Guides . To learn more about our park, visit: https://coralcrater.com/ Our guides play a key role in creating an outstanding guest experience while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities include ensuring guest safety, providing clear instructions and assistance, and delivering an engaging and memorable adventure for all visitors. This is a physically demanding position that involves extensive walking, climbing stairs and hills, and carrying equipment. Candidates must be able to work full time (40 hours per week), five days a week , in all types of weather and with diverse groups of guests. Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required —please do not apply if you are unable to work weekends. Shifts vary throughout the day. Most shifts begin at 8:00 a.m., with some starting as late as 1:00 p.m. We also offer evening zipline and tower tours from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and guides are needed for these shifts as well. Training is full time and typically takes one to two months to complete. Applicants must be available full time throughout the training period. Schedule: Training will in the next two weeks. Training is full time and the days you will be working will be decided upon hiring. You will be paid for training. Once trained you will be required to work 40 hours a week. 5 days a week including weekends Requirements: Cannot be scared of heights :) Must be located on the island of Oahu (All interviews must be in person at the park. We will not hire or interview remotely.) Positive attitude Professional Ability to consistently start/carry on a comfortable conversation with strangers Ability to naturally command the attention of a group of 10-15 people Ability to make a good first impression and instill confidence in others as a safe tour guide The more outgoing you are, the more tips you make! Serious-minded when it comes to safety Must be willing to take photos of guests (We pay commissions!) Being physically fit enough to stand for a long period of time, able to pull yourself 100 ft on a zip line, and generally fit enough to instill confidence in customers that they will be taken care of in this potentially dangerous activity. Must weigh under 275 lbs. due to safety reasons. Pay: Base pay is $16.00 per hour through training. You will get paid more the more you learn. You will also start getting TIPS and commissions once you become a guide; Top guides average, with tips, around $30+ per hour during the busy season. During the off season we cannot guarantee you tours and hours however there is opportunity for maintenance and projects at the park at your hourly rate to help you gain more hours. We also have a perfect attendance bonus. This bonus is equal to an extra $4 per hour on top of your base pay. All you have to do is show up on time, not leave early or call out.
