Sales & Design Consultant / Outside Sales – Countertops Granite | Marble | Quartz | Solid Surface | Laminate Louisville Area | Full-Time | Base Salary + Commission + Benefits Join a Growing Leader in the Countertop Industry! We are a well-established, family-owned countertop fabrication and installation company serving residential, commercial, builder, multi-family, and remodeling clients throughout the region. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven Sales & Design Consultant / Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both working with customers in the showroom and building relationships in the field with builders, contractors, designers, architects, property managers, and commercial clients. What You’ll Sell You will work with customers and industry professionals to sell: ✔ Granite ✔ Marble ✔ Quartz ✔ Solid Surface ✔ Laminate Countertops What You’ll Do Showroom Sales & Design Welcome and assist homeowners, builders, designers, remodelers, and walk-in customers Guide customers through product selection, colors, edge profiles, sinks, and design options Help customers choose materials that fit their style, budget, and project requirements Prepare estimates, proposals, and sales presentations Review plans, measurements, specifications, and project details Coordinate projects with templating, production, and installation teams Follow up on leads, open quotes, and pending opportunities Outside Sales & Business Development Develop new business relationships with builders, general contractors, remodelers, cabinet companies, interior designers, architects, property managers, and commercial clients Call on existing and prospective customers to generate new opportunities Conduct job site visits, office presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations Identify and pursue commercial, residential, builder, and multi-family projects Maintain regular contact with key accounts and decision-makers Generate referrals and expand market presence within the territory Attend networking events, industry functions, and association meetings when applicable Track sales activity, pipeline opportunities, and customer communications What We’re Looking For 2+ years of sales experience preferred Experience in countertops, cabinetry, kitchen & bath, flooring, building materials, construction, or related industries strongly preferred Outside sales or business development experience preferred Design experience or strong design aptitude Ability to read blueprints, plans, and project specifications Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Self-motivated, organized, and driven to achieve goals Comfortable managing multiple customers and projects at one time Proficient with computers, email, CRM systems, and estimating software Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Ideal Background Kitchen & Bath Design Countertops Cabinet Sales Flooring Commercial Construction Builder Sales Remodeling Architectural Products Business Development If you love building relationships, closing deals, and helping customers create amazing spaces, we want to meet you.
