Company Overview The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with healthcare providers and driving patient referrals to our sleep diagnostic center. This role focuses on educating physicians about our home sleep testing, diagnostic services, and unique service offerings. Key Responsibilities 1. Physician & Referral Development Build and maintain relationships with: Primary care physicians Pulmonologists Neurologists Cardiologists Generate referrals for sleep studies 2. Territory Management Manage a defined geographic territory Schedule in-person visits to clinics, support groups, and medical offices Track sales activity and referral trends 3. Product & Service Education Educate providers on: Sleep disorders like Insomnia and Sleep Apnea Diagnostic services (polysomnography, home sleep tests) Current trends and diagnostic options Deliver presentations and in-service training to clinical staff 4. Sales & Growth Meet or exceed referral and revenue targets Identify new business opportunities (clinics, health systems, employer groups) 5. Patient Care Coordination Support Work with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and follow-up Help troubleshoot referral or insurance issues when needed Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred) 1–3+ years of outside sales experience (healthcare or medical sales strongly preferred) Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to travel locally (often 70–80% field time) Preferred Experience Experience selling into physician offices or hospitals Knowledge of sleep medicine or durable medical equipment (DME) Familiarity with insurance and referral processes Key Skills Consultative selling Territory planning CRM usage Clinical education and presentation skills Pay: From $48,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
