Outside Sales Representative – Patio Center & Busch Fireplace Patio Center & Busch Fireplace 1507 Eraste Landry, Lafayette, LA Full-Time | Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Some Saturdays Required) Position Overview We are looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our family-owned companies, Patio Center & Busch Fireplace. This role involves meeting clients at their homes or job sites, evaluating outdoor living projects, and helping design the best solution for their space. Plus, note that sometimes we need an extra hand in the field and this person may need to help in the field. We provide a company vehicle, cell phone, and full training , but we are seeking someone with strong construction knowledge and proven sales ability who can confidently guide customers from concept to quote. Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled in-home and on-site sales appointments Measure spaces and sketch basic layouts for outdoor projects Take and upload photos using estimating/design software Prepare accurate quotes and proposals for customers Communicate clearly and professionally with clients Work 1 Saturday per month at Busch Fireplace Qualifications Sales experience required (outside sales preferred) Construction, carpentry, or installation background strongly preferred Ability to read a tape measure and understand basic construction layouts Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ lbs when needed Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Strong communication skills and tech-comfortable Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Preferred Experience (Not Required) Patio covers, awnings, or aluminum structures Electrical knowledge (motorized shades, etc.) Forklift or equipment operation, when needed.
