Job Title: Overnight Oven Baker Schedule: 2:00 AM – 8:00 AM Pay: Starting at $25/hour, with opportunity for a raise based on performance and experience Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and efficient Overnight Oven Baker to join our team. This role is responsible for baking all bagels and breads, pastries, and muffins during early morning hours, ensuring products are fresh, consistent and ready for daily service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and takes pride in organization and quality. Key Responsibilities: Bake all bagels, breads, pastries, and muffins according to established recipes and standards Manage oven operations efficiently to meet production timelines Prepare and organize all baked goods neatly for front-of-house staff to set up display cases Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Monitor product quality and consistency throughout the baking process Work quickly and effectively to keep up with production demands communicate any inventory or production issues to management Qualifications: Previous baking or kitchen experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate) Ability to work independently during overnight hours Strong time management and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights What We Offer: Competitive starting pay at $25/hour Opportunity for wage increase based on performance and experience Consistent early morning schedule Supportive team environment Ideal Candidate: Someone dependable, efficient, and motivated who takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods and keeping production organized for a smooth morning service.
