Job SummaryWe are seeking a vigilant and professional Overnight Hotel Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.This role requires a dedicated individual capable of monitoring the premises during overnight hours, handling security incidents, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and conflict management.The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, integrity, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.Duties Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including hallways, parking areas, and restricted zones to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats.Observe activity and detect suspicious behavior.Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if necessary.Maintain detailed incident reports and logs of activities during overnight shifts.Assist guests with inquiries or concerns in a professional manner while maintaining a secure environment.Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.Conduct periodic checks of fire safety equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, de-escalating disputes when possible.Assist the front desk with delivering items to the guest rooms Requirements Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, or other emergency response training are highly desirable.Knowledge of conflict management techniques and loss prevention strategies.Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours for extended periods.Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and discreetly.Must be physically capable of patrolling large areas and standing for long durations during shifts.Reliable transportation and the ability to work overnight shifts consistently are essential.Job Type:Part-time Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
