Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced OVERNIGHT Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to our recipes and guidelines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meals that meet their expectations. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices Cook food items according to recipes and guidelines, ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation Monitor food cooking temperatures to ensure safety and quality standards are met Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing recipes Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all sanitation guidelines Adhere to all food safety regulations and practices Assist with inventory management and stock rotation Qualifications: Previous experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role in the food industry Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment operation Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt as necessary Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for career growth within the company Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.50 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Vision insurance Shift: Evening shift Night shift Shift availability: Overnight Shift (Required) Ability to Relocate: San Diego, CA 92104: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
