Data Entry Clerk Bridge Dermpath is a physician-owned practice located in Tarrytown, NY that specializes in the field of dermatopathology.We are seeking a dedicated and organized full-time Remote Data Entry Clerk with a flexible overnight schedule ranging from 5:00 PM to 12:00 PM, 30 hours per week.Candidate must be located within a 50-mile radius of Tarrytown, NY.The main responsibilities include entering a high volume of patient demographics, diagnoses, and insurance information efficiently and accurately.If hired, employee must be able to attend onboarding and preliminary training on-site.Data Entry Clerk Job Responsibilities:Confirm case information/patient name/DOB prior to entry.Enter patient demographic and insurance information into system.Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Collaborates with other data entry clerks, laboratory staff, and/or management as needed.Other related duties as assigned.Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field a plus Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Able to quickly and accurately type and enter data Attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Medical terminology knowledge preferred Must be able to:Work with confidential patient health information Work independently and in a team environment Ability to prioritize and manage workloads and deadlines Self-Starter Excellent problem-solving skills Be resourceful and creative Proficient with computer hardware and software Bridge Dermpath provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.Hourly wage is dependent on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, and education.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$20.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Paid time off Experience:Data Entry:1 year (Required) Work Location:Hybrid remote in Tarrytown, NY 10591.
