Pace is seeking an Owner/Operator Courier Delivery Drivers with a Sedan/SUV/Truck/Van in our Birmingham AL market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with consistent, dedicated routes! As a contracted Courier Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will deliver freight to our customers' stores in Birmingham and surrounding areas. This opportunity requires a small sedan/SUV/Truck to deliver automobile parts and merchandise to an automotive retailer. Dedicated and on-call/standby options are available. Drivers are assigned routes up to 6 days per week between the hours of 8:30 am and 6:30 pm. An average route is between 90 to 150 miles round-trip. This opportunity is ideal for Independent Contractors (IC's) and Master IC's as well as Freight Agents with small fleets. Key Responsibilities for Courier Drivers: Load auto parts/merchandise and deliver to designated stores. Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries. Maintain required insurance. Excellent communication skills surrounding issues, delays, etc. Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications. Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
