Position Facility:Watertown Our manufacturing members are the heart of our organization.Members of our manufacturing team, which includes machine operators, packaging, shipping and more, take pride in ensuring we produce only the highest-quality, most consistent products for our customers and consumers.If you're passionate about making a difference, we want you to help make our products, processes, communities and each other better.Position Overview Starting Hourly Rate:$25.23 per hour.Skill block completion will increase hourly rate.Pay Range:$25.23 - $26.65 per hour.Hours:2:15pm - 10:45pm (end time will vary depending on production needs) The successful candidate will help with setup, pack offal products to target weight, move skids of product in and out of the freezer, and ensure proper safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.Responsibilities Be able to perform and rotate through several job functions in the department at line speed Comply with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), USDA regulations and safety rules at all times Ensure products are accurately weighed, packaged, and labeled (products include ribs, loins, livers, hearts, tongues, etc.) Always verify and record temperatures to ensure superb quality Package and palletize product in accordance with established specifications Utilize a PIV to move and stage pallets Learn and excel in all positions within the room, to facilitate teamwork and cross-training Utilize SAP for material movements Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience Knife Skills preferred but not required SAP knowledge preferred but not required Food Manufacturing experience, a plus Skills Excellent attendance and performance record Ability to prioritize work in relation to process flow Ability to communicate effectively with the team and work towards an end goal without direct supervision Proactive team player, dependable and detail oriented Physical Demands:Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up 50 lbs, and hand grip up to 60 lbs on a regular basis Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift Ability/Willingness to work in cold conditions Other Requirements Must be at least 18 years old External Candidates Only:Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check Benefits and Compensation Members have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.Members also have access to terrific benefits including affordable medical, dental and vision coverage; flexible spending accounts; disability and life insurance; and fertility and adoption assistance.Johnsonville also offers competitive paid time off, including paid parental time off!
