Packaging Tech Reports to:Production Manager In just a few words:The Packaging Tech is a key position on the packaging line, and is integral to consistency and quality of Dangerous Man products.They work under the Packaging Lead, and are part of a team that gets the beer from tank to can or keg.They load and unload packaging materials, stack cases of beer on pallets, and monitor cans for appearance and fill weights.Some cellar duties include cleaning brite tanks and centrifugation.Primary Responsibilities Packaging Load packaging materials (empty cans, lids, etc) Unload, stack, and palletize finished cans Learn the operation of the canning line and monitor its operation Clean and fill kegs CIP brewing vessels Operate centrifuge Operate pallet jacks, lifts, and/or forklift (after certification) Take basic measurements for beer quality Record keeping for packaged product and inventory Maintain a clean and orderly work area Any other brewery tasks assigned by the Packaging Lead or Production Manager Requirements Must have reliable transportation to Maple Lake Be able to stand for extended periods Be capable of regularly lifting up to 55 lbs Be capable of regularly moving and wheeling 165pounds Compensation $21.00 / hour Part-time or Full-time Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $21.00 per hour Benefits:Paid sick time Paid time off License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute:Maple Lake, MN 55358 (Preferred) Work Location:In person.
