Job Description
We are seeking Packers to join our team in West Henrietta, NY! Packers are responsible for preparing and packing items for shipment in a warehouse or production facility.This role requires close attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and knowledge of packing machinery and techniques.Shift Hours:B shift - 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM - Monday - Friday Pay:$18/hour Key Responsiblities:Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools Read work orders to determine the type and quantity of items that need to be packaged Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material Measure, weigh, and count products and materials to ensure conformance to specifications Seal containers and materials using glues, fasteners, tape, and hand tools Load finished packages into trucks, vans, and cars for delivery Maintain records of packaged items Keep workspace clean and organized to maintain safety and efficiency Operate packaging machinery as required Key Requirements:Availability to work the full shift hours consistently.Strong work ethic and ability to perform tasks independently or as part of a team.Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed.Prior experience in a similar role or willingness to learn.Adherence to all company safety and operational procedures.HSD/GED preferred #IND3.
