OverviewPannier Corporation, located in Glenshaw, PA, 15116, is a manufacturer of industrial marking and identification systems.For more information, see our website at www.pannier.com.Duties Perform a variety of duties to pack shipments and perform messenger service, deliver and pick up material and papers in local area and plants. Load and unload trucks.Use hand and power trucks.Pack and complete all cartons or containers with all information for truck, rail, air or parcel post shipments.Complete and distribute order copies.Assist in building crates and moving machinery.Move material to and from production departments and stock room.Prepare inks and solvents for shipments from shop orders.Pack metal tags and recoil strip as required.Record weight, quantity and date as required.Check incoming and outgoing material for quantity and record same.Advise foreman of suspected damages or shortages.Cut samples of incoming tag material for Quality Control.Deliver material to presses and record inventory used on each job in the Tag Department.Print labels for cartons and skids per customer specifications or for inventory control.Scan printed tags for readability and duplication.Receive training in the proper packaging and shipping of hazardous products.Qualifications Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines consistently Basic understanding of shipping procedures and packaging materials preferred Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Prior experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations is a plus but not required Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-moving environment Join us today and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering excellence!
