Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packout Technician, where your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient packaging and dispatch of high-quality products.This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment, supporting production workflows and maintaining compliance with industry standards.As a Packout Technician, you will be instrumental in safeguarding product integrity, adhering to regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to assemble, pack, and prepare products for shipment in accordance with specified procedures and quality standards. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control packaging machinery, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Follow strict adherence to FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to maintain product safety and compliance throughout the packing process. Conduct quality checks on finished packages, verifying labels, seals, and documentation for accuracy before dispatch. Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts to move materials within the packing area safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following proper safety protocols and housekeeping standards. Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and documentation of packaged products for traceability. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and assembly equipment. Familiarity with packaging processes within a manufacturing environment. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machinery control and troubleshooting. Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP standards applicable to pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing. Ability to operate forklift safely within warehouse settings; certification preferred. Previous warehouse experience with an emphasis on assembly, packaging, or logistics operations.
