Paint Mixing Technician

Summary Responsible for maintaining the mixing room of the paint line. Primary Responsibilities Working within the paint line/mixing room Maximizing efficiencies while ensuring quality Control paint mixing/changeovers Inventory control Keep the paint mixing room neat and clean 6S of area Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as dual-action sanders and paint sprayers Follow standard operating procedures when using sealants, paint strippers, and corrosion-preventive chemicals and use protective equipment as required KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Excellent verbal/written communication Maintain and follow all training requirements Understand and follow all quality, safety, and environmental processes and procedures Follow all recycling programs Able to work different hours and shifts as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Use required safety equipment Preventative maintenance within the paint line as assigned Requires working in high temperature/humidity environment
