Paint Processing Technician

Overview The Paint Processing Technician is responsible for handling and processing post-consumer paint within the warehouse plant department.This role involves sorting and pouring paint into large totes based on color classifications, ensuring containers are fully emptied, and maintaining organized work areas.The position requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to meet daily productivity goals while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.Key Responsibilities Sort and process post-consumer paint by accurately reading labels and identifying category, base, color and finish classifications.Pour paint from 1-gallon and 5-gallon containers into designated totes based on color categories.Ensure all paint is fully emptied from containers before disposal or recycling.Stack and organize empty buckets onto pallets for proper handling and storage.Safely lift and move paint containers throughout the work area.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the processing area.Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and productivity goals.Perform tasks independently when required while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns to supervisors promptly.Physical Requirements Ability to lift and handle 1-5 gallon paint containers repeatedly throughout the shift.( 30 - 50 pounds ) Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move for extended periods of time.Capability to perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.Qualifications Ability to read and understand product labels and basic written instructions.Strong attention to detail and ability to sort materials accurately.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to meet daily productivity targets.Prior warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, or production experience preferred but not required.Work Environment Warehouse/manufacturing environment with exposure to paint odors and products.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company safety policies.Fast-paced production setting with established daily processing goals.Pay:From $15.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Work Location:In person.
