Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that enhance the protective qualities of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Your expertise in surface preparation, color application, and finishing techniques will play a vital part in transforming spaces and maintaining our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment airless sprayers. Perform specialized painting tasks including construction painting, industrial coating applications, restoration projects, and renovation work. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, Execute surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, stucco application,and trim carpentry to prepare surfaces for finishing. Operate power tools and hand tools safely while maintaining a clean work environment on construction sites or within residential/commercial settings. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, as well as power tools including sanders and spray equipment. Experience with renovation projects involving plastering, restoration work Familiarity with safety procedures on construction sites; ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
