Location: Tulsa, OK Work Type: Onsite At a Glance: The Painter is primarily responsible for prepping and processing materials through the FMC Backshop. This position is in Tulsa, OK. What you will do: Clean and prepare surfaces prior to layering pain Mix coatings per manufacturer specification Prep and mask items as needed for blast and paint (taping, plugging holes, blowing the items of with air gun, etc.) Run wash bay and blast booth to support production Perform required maintenance on paint equipment Safely load and move materials to work and drying areas by industrial forklift, overhead cranes and by pulling loaded parts racks. Responsible for keeping the painting equipment in good working condition- making sure the paint guns and paint pots are cleaned after each use. Safely dispose of chemical waste Maintain a clean and safe work area
