Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable protection for buildings and structures. Responsibilities ​ ● if willing to travel there is a lot more potential to make more money Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion Select appropriate paints, primers, stains, and finishes based on project specifications and color schemes Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray equipment (including airless paint spraying), and other hand or power tools with precision and efficiency Perform surface treatments such as caulking, plastering, stucco application, and masonry work to achieve smooth finishes Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute painting plans in accordance with project requirements Assist with renovation projects by handling tasks like fixture installation, trim carpentry, framing, and basic carpentry repairs Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols on construction sites and properly handling tools such as scaffolding and welding equipment Skills Extensive experience with residential and commercial painting techniques Strong knowledge of color theory to match palettes effectively Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., brushes, scrapers) and power tools (e.g., sprayers, drills) for various applications Ability to read construction schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately Familiarity with construction estimating processes for material planning and job costing Skilled in plastering, stucco work, masonry repairs, and restoration projects Experience with industrial painting methods and fixture installation on construction sites Basic math skills for measurements and calculations needed during project execution Knowledge of renovation processes including remodeling tasks like drywall finishing or concrete finishing Handyman experience that includes caulking, trim carpentry, framing carpentry, masonry work, welding or maintenance tasks Join us if you are passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
