OverviewJoin our team as a Painter Helper and play a vital role in transforming spaces through skilled painting and renovation projects.This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial sites, assisting experienced painters with preparation, application, and finishing tasks.If you're eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship, this is your chance to grow your career in the vibrant world of construction and renovation.ResponsibilitiesAssist lead painters in preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas to ensure smooth paint application.Support the application of paint, stain, and other finishes using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment.Help with surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, and patching to create a flawless finish.Read blueprints, schematics, and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate work.Handle demolition tasks like removal of old paint or wallpaper, as well as minor carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry and fixture installation.Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site.Assist with specialized projects including stucco application, masonry work, restoration efforts, and industrial painting tasks.ExperiencePrevious experience in construction painting or related fields such as renovation or remodeling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and basic math skills for measurements is highly advantageous.Knowledge of color theory and different types of paints or finishes enhances your ability to support precise work.Experience reading blueprints or schematics helps ensure project specifications are met accurately.Construction site experience across residential or commercial projects provides a solid foundation for success in this role.Additional skills such as welding, concrete finishing, masonry, or handyman experience are considered valuable assets that can broaden your scope of work.Join us to build a rewarding career where your contributions help transform spaces while developing essential skills in construction painting!
