Part-Time Painter / Residential Painting Assistant - $20-$30/hr or priced by room/surface area Location: Mystic, CT 06355 - Mason’s Island area Pay: $20-$30/hour, based on experience and quality of work Schedule: Part-time, flexible; weekday and weekend hours available We are hiring a reliable part-time painter / residential painting assistant to help paint much of the interior and exterior of a 3,000-square-foot private home in Mystic, including the deck. We already have the paint purchased and many of the supplies needed on site. This is a private family home with a respectful, organized environment and a flexible schedule for someone who takes pride in careful, clean, high-quality work. Duties may include Interior painting, including walls, trim, touch-ups, and prep work Exterior painting, including siding, doors, trim, railings, and related surfaces Deck staining or painting Surface preparation, sanding, scraping, caulking, patching, taping, and cleanup Moving or covering furniture and protecting floors, landscaping, and household areas Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organized Communicating clearly about progress, supplies, timing, and any issues that come up Ideal candidate Reliable, careful, and detail-oriented Experienced with residential interior and exterior painting Comfortable working independently Good judgment and strong follow-through Respectful in a private home environment Able to work neatly and protect the home, deck, landscaping, and surrounding areas Prior painting, handyman, construction, property maintenance, carpentry, or home improvement experience helpful Comfortable with ladders and outdoor work Benefits $20-$30/hour or price by room, based on fit and experience Daily direct pay Flexible part-time schedule Paint and many supplies already provided Supportive, respectful home environment To apply, please send a brief note with your painting or home improvement experience, availability, and distance from Mystic.
