Job Description
Skydive Snohomish is seeking one candidate to join our Packing Team.Help keep our parachutes in the air for the 2026 skydiving season! Commitment Period:Starting as soon as possible.Through September; extension possible into October/November.Schedule:Skydiving is a seasonal business.Days worked would be approximately as follows.Now to May 5:Friday through Sunday May 6 to June 17:Wednesday through Sunday (rotating Thursdays off) June 18 to September 28:Wednesday through Sunday September 29 to November 2:Saturday and Sunday Max schedule:(Time-off is given when weather does not permit skydiving)Weekdays:12:30pm - SunsetWeekends:9:30am - Sunset Wages:Piece work:$13 per pack (pack up to 4 per hour depending on proficiency).During the 2025 season packers averaged $3200/month over the course of the season (May through September).Guaranteed, minimum pay arrangement available to address wage fluctuations caused by weather or seasonality if desired.Position Description:The Skydive Snohomish packing team works in the heart of the action at the drop zone.Thorough training and direct support provided by FAA-certified Parachute Riggers.This is an essential position within the company.It requires a high level of professionalism, responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to your team and the company.The nature of this work is physical (must be able to lift 45 lbs and move it 15-20 feet) and requires attention to detail in maintaining the integrity of the equipment.The pace of the work can vary depending on the weather and time of year.Given this is a seasonal, recreation business; weekend and evening work is required.We are able to offer 1 week off during the commitment period as long as it hasn't already been granted to another team member.The work area is outdoors, under a shaded open hangar, facing the parachute landing area and runway.The atmosphere is fun and energy-filled.Duties and Responsibilities:Packing parachutes with precision, professionalism, and responsibility.Keeping work area clean and organized.Perform basic inspection and maintenance of skydiving equipment, as trained.Contributing and promoting a welcoming, positive, family-friendly atmosphere for all customers and fellow staff members.Qualifications:Attentive to detail, enjoys having responsibility, is hard working, in good physical condition, enjoys being part of a team, willing to work weekends, appreciates an open air work environment, uses clean language, is able to commit to the season given time-off limitations, and enjoys being in an aviation/skydiving environment.This role has transferable skills between construction, warehouse worker or other physical jobs.Application Instructions:To apply, respond via email including answers to the Application Questions.Attach a resume if possible.If you are looking to commit your summer to a team of fun-loving people and blowing people's minds, please contact us today!
