Position title: Paralegal Duration: 6 Months Location: Indianapolis, IN, US, 46204 Pay range: $20 Per hour on W2 basis Job description: Process incoming Public Records Requests and fulfill within allotted timeframe. Research and analyze law sources including statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal codes related to public records Responsibilities : Learn and apply Indiana Code to APRA requests for determination of release or denial of records Process body and dash camera footage to ensure appropriate redactions are made per IC Coordinate assembly of documentation required as the result of subpoenas and discovery requests if needed Ensure proper indexing and filing of original legal documents as needed Answer phones for Legal Office personnel Perform other duties as required Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. Paralegal certification with 2 years paralegal experience. Prior experience handling sensitive or confidential information. Prior experience w/Legal Research sites LexisNexis and Westlaw.
