St.Mary Parish is seeking a part-time Parish Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support to the Parish Pastor and parish office.This position serves as the welcoming first point of contact for parishioners, visitors, and staff and plays an important role in supporting the daily operations and mission of the parish.Schedule:Part-time, 20-25 hours per week, with hours coordinated in consultation with the Parish Pastor.Primary Responsibilities Include:Greeting visitors and answering phones.Providing general administrative support, including typing, copying, faxing, and email correspondence.Preparing weekly parish bulletin.Scheduling Mass intentions and parish calendar events.Maintaining parish census and sacramental records.Preparing liturgical certificates (baptism, confirmation, etc.) Assisting with office projects and parish communications.Supporting the day-to-day operations of the parish office.Qualifications:Supportive of the mission and values of the Catholic Church.Strong administrative, typing, and organization skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Successful completion of all required background clearances and diocesan training.Previous office or parish administrative experience preferred.To apply, please submit your resume and contact information.Equal Opportunity Employer.As a Catholic religious organization, preference may be given to qualified Catholic applicants in accordance with applicable law.Pay:From $12.73 per hour Work Location:In person.
