Park Custodial Staff

We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and protect Lake Bryan. The external and internal appearance of a building and park reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building and ground upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs. Saturday & Sunday & Monday Mornings *Must have a Drivers License and good driving record** Each Shift is estimated to take 3 hours In-Time is at 7:00am Responsibilities Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash around the park. (55 trash bins total) Clean and maintain park restrooms and showers (pressure wash them as needed) Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and, restock disposables (e.g. soap, toilet paper) Wipe mirrors and fixtures Maintain company vehicle by pressure washing the truck bed after each shift Report major damages Secure facilities by locking doors and gates prior to departure Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks ( picking up litter near the sidewalk and tables, lifting heavy items) Skills Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components Attention to detail and conscientiousness Very good physical condition and strength Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 per hour Physical Setting Outdoor work License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Ability to Relocate: Bryan, TX 77807: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
