Our Parks and Recreation Services Department provides a variety of services for our community and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a wide array of parks and recreation areas within 820 acres; including 55 parks, 26 miles of trails, an urban forest consisting of 30,000 trees, and several public facilities.The Department employs 42 full-time staff and 200 seasonal, part-time staff and volunteers.Purpose Statement:We inspire residents and customers to value healthy and active lifestyles by providing exceptional park and recreation experiences that meet today's ever-changing needs and interests.We are committed to being:Responsible stewards of resources Collaborative by working with other community organizations Accountable and transparent in our management practices While this is an amazing opportunity to become a leader in our Parks Division, you will also become the main person of contact for all-things South Napa and Downtown Parks, and the newly acquired Harvest Middle School Site.This position will work a 9/80 schedule from Thursday - Sunday 5:30 AM - 3 PM and Monday 5:30 AM to 2 PM (non-pay day Monday off).In this role we hope that you will share your knowledge, become an expert, and work to keep our Parks pristine!
