Work With Us Maricopa County, AZ We Require Two years of experience performing clerical and administrative duties that include providing customer service High School Diploma or GED Other Requirements Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire We Also Value Cash handling experience using a computerized point-of-sale system Three or more years of clerical duties, including customer service and public contact experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills Job Contributions Operate on the point of sale/reservation system and provide initial and ongoing training to volunteers and staff as needed Prepare and process revenue, including counting cash and check intake for all revenue locations, and prepare reports and bank deposits daily for all park staff Greet park visitors and interpret park features for customers, including, but not limited to, park use areas, rules and regulations, fees, and special uses of park lands Respond to e-mails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries and concerns from the public, agencies, park personnel, or others regarding designated parks in a professional manner Oversee ordering and inventory functions of the Nature Center, contact station, and souvenir fund Prepare weekly/monthly park souvenir fund order; ensure order meets all department requirements Provide general administrative support to park staff Other job duties as assigned (e.g., light janitorial, litter collection, landscaping, exhibit display care, etc.) Working Conditions The position typically involves office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions Incumbent may be subjected to extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, respiratory hazards, and noise and vibration while in the field Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel Selection Procedure Only the most qualified candidates will be considered Consideration will only be given to candidates who submit online applications Candidates will be contacted primar
