Job Description
The Part Time Academic Interventionist at the Twin Valley Elementary School provides targeted academic support to students who require additional assistance in meeting grade-level expectations in literacy, mathematics, and other core content areas. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, special educators, administrators, and families, the interventionist uses assessment data to identify student needs, develop intervention plans, monitor progress, and implement evidence-based instructional strategies in both small group and individual settings. The position is responsible for helping students build foundational skills, confidence, and independence while supporting the schools overall academic goals and commitment to student success. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff, are essential for this role.
