Part-time After School Program Assistant Prek - 8

Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a Program Assistant for our after school program for students Pre-kindergarten through 8th grade! Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to PreK-8 students’ needs across various subjects Use innovative learning technology to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement Provide personalized support sessions focusing on individual student goals and challenges Manage small group behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies Assist with planning, assessment design, and progress reporting Support students with special education needs or additional learning accommodations as required Experience Prior experience working with children in early childhood or elementary education settings Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for diverse age groups Experience using learning technology tools to facilitate interactive instruction Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues Knowledge of small group management techniques and best practices in childcare or preschool environments Familiarity with special education principles and inclusive teaching strategies is a plus Background in tutoring or teaching across multiple subjects at the elementary or middle school level This role offers an energetic environment where your passion for education can truly flourish.
