Our company is growing, and we need a part-time maintenance professional who has the know-how to keep our facilities and equipment in top shape. This position is ideal for a retired contractor looking to keep themselves busy. You will work with our Maintenance Specialist to conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance across our self-storage and multi-family properties. Compensation: $35/hr Hours: 20hrs/week Compensation: $35 hourly Responsibilities: Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical, appliances, and grounds maintenance. Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner. Conduct property inspections and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance. Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including light repairs, painting, and cleaning. Preserve and respect resident confidentiality and privacy. Interact positively with residents and the community. Work with the property management to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal policies. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Qualifications: Proven experience in general handyman services or a related field. Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. Residing in Salt Lake County is highly preferred for this role.
