Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Part-Time Associate Dentist, working exclusively on Mondays at our vibrant downtown clinic. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental examinations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages. Perform a variety of dental procedures including dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and dental charts, adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments. Use dental imaging tools such as X-rays to assess oral health conditions accurately. Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and procedural efficiency. Skills Proficient in using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation. Experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication is highly desirable. Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal treatments, and other general dentistry procedures with aseptic technique. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately across diverse patient populations. Knowledge of infection control standards and medical imaging techniques to ensure safe practice environments. Prior experience working in a busy dental office or clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with HIPAA compliance is essential.
