We're looking for someone who enjoys baking and wants to grow their skills in a small, supportive kitchen.This role is focused on assisting with our baking program and helping keep our bakery goods stocked with the items we're known for.You'll be helping prepare doughs, muffin batters, pies, and other baked goods, along with general kitchen prep.Some baking experience is helpful, but we're happy to teach the right person who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn.We take great pride in our baked goods, especially our cinnamon rolls, caramel rolls (with homemade caramel), rhubarb muffins, quiches, and rotating specials.If you enjoy working with dough and learning new techniques, this is a great opportunity to develop your baking skills.We're a small team and operate like one; everyone helps where needed.While baking prep will be your main focus, you may also help with basic prep, dishes, or other kitchen tasks during busy times.What We're Looking For Someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in making quality food Reliable and punctual, being on time matters in a small kitchen A positive attitude and respectful team mindset Someone who notices what needs to be done and jumps in to help Comfortable following recipes and staying organized Open to learning and receiving feedback Responsibilities Assist with baking prep (mixing doughs, preparing batters, portioning items) Help bake muffins, rolls, quiches, and other pastries Prepare ingredients for baking and kitchen prep Keep the baking area clean and organized Wash dishes and assist with general kitchen tasks when needed Help keep our bakery goods stocked and ready for service Requirements 18years old (required for working safely with ovens and kitchen equipment) Basic kitchen or baking experience preferred, but not required Ability to work efficiently and stay organized Hours & Pay 2-4 shifts per week Usually one early in the week and one before the weekend (flexible scheduling) Starting at $16+/hour DOE 30-day review with potential raise based on performance Perks Flexible scheduling with advance notice Employee menu available with options for a free meal or a discounted meal Opportunity to grow your baking skills and experiment with new recipes If you enjoy baking, like working with a small team, and want to help create the baked goods our customers love, we'd love to hear from you.Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $16.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
