Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Barback to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced bar environment, with a strong commitment to supporting the bartending team and delivering exceptional guest service. Barback’s Role: As a Barback, you will be responsible for supporting the bartenders and ensuring the bar operates smoothly throughout each shift. Your duties include restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar, preparing garnishes, assisting with inventory, and helping bartenders serve guests efficiently. Your role is essential in keeping service fast, consistent, and well-coordinated. Duties Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins and other necessary items before and during service hours Clean up spills, remove glassware when not in use from customers Communicate and work together with the bartenders Prepare and Restock Garnishes: The limes, lemons, oranges, and other garnishes for beers and mixed drinks are prepared by barbacks. This duty requires manual dexterity to safely handle kitchen knives. Restock ice wells Requirement Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively Previous barback experience in fine dining or nightclub is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for an upscale lounge Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to lift 3050 lbs and stand for extended periods Davidoff is a premium cigar lounge, and candidates must be comfortable working in a smokefilled environment for extended periods of time.
