Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Bartender’s Role: As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing the bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries Operate InfoGenesis POS systems for order processing and payment transactions Manage inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies while adhering to food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment Planning bar menus Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behaviour Requirement Proficiency in InfoGenesis POS systems is preferred Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is a plus Familiarity with retail math concepts related to inventory management is beneficial. Davidoff is a premium cigar lounge, and candidates must be comfortable working in a smokefilled environment for extended periods of time.
