Bookkeeper Location: Jackson, MI Company: Right at Home South Central Michigan Mission: "In Home Health Care and Assistance" Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join our team at Right at Home South Central Michigan. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining a clean and organized financial record system. Responsibilities: Conduct daily financial transactions, including entries, payments, and general ledger reconciliations Reconcile time sheets and daily care records on a weekly basis Prepare payroll, billing, and EEOC reports on a timely basis Manage and process insurance billing, ICD codes, and I-9 forms Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal withholding taxes, labor and wage laws, and tax credits Prepare and submit workers' compensation reports and unemployment claims Provide timely and accurate financial reports to accountants and insurance companies Process liability payments, workers' compensation reports, and billing authorizations Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries and VA billing Requirements: 10 years of experience in bookkeeping and working knowledge of QuickBooks Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information What We Offer: A dynamic and growing organization committed to providing in-home care and assistance to seniors and vulnerable adults A supportive team environment with opportunities for growth and development Competitive compensation and benefits package (please note, benefits package is subject to change) How to Apply: If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new challenge, please apply to this exciting opportunity.
