PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING YOU MUST BE DEPENDABLE, HAVE PASSION Job SummaryWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-time Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care.This role involves working closely with clients in various settings, including home, community, assisted living.The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through attentive caregiving, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.Prior experience in senior care, memory care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.This position offers flexible hours to accommodate your schedule while making a meaningful difference in people's lives.Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients for any changes in condition or behavior, maintaining detailed documentation Administer medications and manage care plans according to healthcare provider instructions Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support patients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia through engaging activities and memory care techniques Use appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and team members to deliver comprehensive care Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's or Dementia Care are a plus Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient monitoring techniques necessary for ensuring privacy and safety Ability to assist with heavy lifting and use of mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Strong observational skills for patient safety and condition monitoring Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience when working with diverse populations Flexibility to work part-time hours; availability during evenings or weekends is a plus but not required Part-time role with flexible hours.
