Pacifica Christian High School is seeking a part-time choir teacher to teach one section of choir to beginning and intermediate students. They'll work with students to develop healthy vocal techniques, expand vocal range, and hone performance skills. Qualifications Choir directing at the high school level. A BA from an accredited college or university is preferred. An ability to sight read and play piano accompaniment during class. Duties Teach one choir class 2 to 3 days a week during our block schedule. Teach and reinforce proper vocal techniques, including breath control, posture, resonance, and articulation. Attend the rehearsal and performance of our Spring Concert in March. Embody and demonstrate enthusiasm and support of the school's mission and values. Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
