Stylist (Training Program) The Galleria Hair Salon – Houston, TX This role is for a stylist early in their career who wants to grow fast in a real salon environment. You’ll work directly with experienced stylists and build your skills daily. We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to improve and be part of a close team. We are hiring one person only for this role. This is not a walk-in-and-take-clients position. You’ll start by assisting and training, with a clear path to building your own clientele. --- What You’ll Do Assist stylists with cutting, color, guest flow, and salon support Practice on mannequins and models Train weekly with experienced stylists Support front desk when needed Keep the salon running smoothly (cleaning, prep, light laundry) --- Requirements Minimum 1 year in-salon experience Not your first salon job Comfortable with basic services (haircuts and color) Best fit: 1–3 years experience Coachable and team-oriented Reliable transportation --- About Our Culture We are a team-first salon. Stylists support each other and share clients when needed. Every 4–6 weeks we do team outings (dinners, activities, social events). You don’t need to drink, but you should be comfortable participating in a social environment.
