Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $22-$28/Hour About Us Winder CNA Training is a Georgia-based healthcare training school expanding into the Chattanooga market. We offer American Heart Association CPR, BLS, First Aid, and BLS Instructor courses and are building a dedicated presence in the greater Chattanooga area to serve the region's growing healthcare community. The Role We're looking for a reliable, personable CPR/BLS Instructor to lead classes at community centers, libraries, and rented conference spaces throughout the Chattanooga metro area. You'll be the face of our Chattanooga campus running classes independently, maintaining equipment, and helping us build relationships with local healthcare employers. This is a great fit for a current or former healthcare professional (nurse, EMT, paramedic, respiratory therapist) who wants steady part-time hours with a consistent schedule and room to grow. What You'll Do Teach AHA BLS Provider, Heartsaver CPR/AED, and Heartsaver First Aid courses (typically 2 classes per week) Set up and break down classroom space at community venues (tables, manikins, AED trainers, course materials) Ensure all students receive proper skills evaluation and certification cards on the day of class Maintain training equipment in clean, working condition Collect payments and manage class rosters through our registration system Represent Winder CNA Training professionally and help build word-of-mouth in the Chattanooga healthcare community Coordinate scheduling with our main office and communicate any venue or student issues promptly What We're Looking For Current AHA BLS Instructor certification (preferred, if not, will train) Healthcare background strongly preferred (CNA, RN, LPN, EMT, Paramedic, RT, or similar) Reliable transportation you'll be traveling to different class locations across the Chattanooga area Comfortable teaching groups of 620 adults with varying experience levels Professional, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching life-saving skills Must be able to lift and carry training equipment (manikins, bags) up to 40 lbs Must pass a background check What We Offer Consistent weekly schedule (Tuesdays & Fridays) so you can plan around it All training equipment and course materials provided AHA certification renewal support and continuing education Opportunity to grow into additional courses (ACLS, PALS) and more hours as the campus expands Be part of a growing healthcare training school with a strong reputation in the Southeast
