Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) 1099 - to provide exceptional service and personalized care to individuals in a group home setting. This vital role involves offering comprehensive assistance and guidance with daily activities, appointment reminders, transportation to and from appointments, medication administration, overall cleanliness, and additional needed support while ensuring each individual feels safe, comfortable, and valued. You'll be tasked to work closely with our residents to promote their independence and well-being while maintaining a respectful environment. This position offers an enriching opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Teach residents how to properly conduct their ADLs as needed. Administer all resident's medications (am & pm). Teach residents cooking skills, assist with meal planning and cooking (as applicable). Supervise residents to identify any health concerns or behavioral changes. Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to ensure a safe environment. Collaborate with resident treatment team, and healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans that align with each resident’s needs. Transport residents to various appointments (as needed). Attend all required trainings on a regular basis. Experience Must have at least 1+ years prior experience working in a residential group facility, assisted living facility, nursing home, or home & community care environment. Current NV state Medication Management desired. Demonstrated knowledge of client, patient, or resident care practices such as medication administration, daily skills support, daily living support, and patient observation. Experience working with individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other disabilities. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality of client / resident information. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and supporting residents’ social well-being. Coachable, and dependable is a must. Incident report writing skills, and Microsoft office skills. Requirements: Must be 21 years or older. Flexibility to a part time day, evening, and night shift and overtime as needed. Quick learner and problem solver. Must have a clean driving record and own vehicle for client transport. Must have a valid Nevada Driver's License (liability insurance is required).
