Part-Time Director of Operations Vine & Branch Church Vine & Branch is a small community of Jesus Followers who practice our faith together within the broad Christian tradition. The framework for all our practices is “Belong, Become, Believe.” We’ve chosen to position ourselves in the most diverse part of Fayetteville, Arkansas, to engage with the surrounding community and offer a place of connection, networking, and social entrepreneurship. About the Role Vine & Branch is looking to hire a part-time Director of Operations who has a desire to be part of what we are building. We are seeking a person with an active imagination and a creative approach to both opportunities and challenges. They demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, enjoy working collaboratively, and are able to work independently. They are comfortable navigating multiple, sometimes competing, priorities, and can communicate effectively while discerning and prioritizing what matters most. This individual brings strong interpersonal skills and communicates clearly across social and digital platforms. They are committed to participating in the life of the church beyond their designated responsibilities. Most importantly, they have a deep love for, and personal commitment to, the Christian faith and tradition, paired with a commitment to living it out in ways that are evolving, prophetic, and inclusive within the particular local context of Vine & Branch Church. Qualifications Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and follow through with a high degree of ownership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and across digital platforms Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment Alignment with the mission and values of Vine & Branch, including a commitment to an evolving and inclusive expression of the Christian faith CHURCH OPERATIONS (15hrs/wk) Coordinate Weekend Liturgy Prepare media for Sunday gathering (e.g., slides, bulletins, children’s handouts, etc.) Own the planning, coordination, and communication of volunteer schedules and responsibilities. Lead Sunday hospitality efforts (e.g., prepare and close down the physical space for Sunday service) Coordinate with Teaching, Worship, Outreach and Kids’ teams leadership to ensure weekly alignment Provide General Support to Ministry Team Leads Serve as the primary point of contact and information resource for the Church Prepare for and participate in regular administrative and team leadership meetings Maintain regular in-person office hours, ensuring availability for in-person meetings and for collaborative work and responsibilities Coordinate Special Events Support the planning and execution of church and community events, including but not limited to: Spring Retreat Fall Retreat Chili/Pie Cookoff Easter week Liturgical events (Christmas Eve, Good Friday, etc.) Love Your Neighbor Weekend Fundraisers Financial Responsibilities Oversee bill payments, payroll, track expenses Interact with and support the finance team on all financial matters Communications Manage and maintain the church website, including regular updates to events, announcements, and Sunday sermon notes Oversee all social media platforms, including content planning, creation, and posting Develop and execute clear, consistent communication across internal and external channels, ensuring timely and accurate sharing of events, initiatives, and key updates with the congregation and broader community COMMUNITY COORDINATION (10-15hrs/wk) These responsibilities could be combined with the above to create a position closer to full time or could be separate roles. Building Management: On-Call or As-Needed Oversee the care and use of our building at 716 W. Sycamore, including regular coordination and communication with our long-term tenant, Sícaru Coffee Roasters. Community Relations: Approximately 5 hours per week
