OverviewThis is a hybrid - remote position in which you will mainly work from a required home office; however, you will be required to go to job sites occasionally to collect information such as measurements for estimates.We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate estimates and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.Although some experience is expected, we are willing to train the right candidate.Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and other documentation.Utilize Houz Pro and other software to develop accurate measurements for concrete and asphalt work.Utilize Quickbooks Online to create both estimates and invoices.Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for estimates.Review contracts and blueprints to ensure compliance with project specifications and company policies.Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to clients.Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is a plus, but we are willing to train.Proficiency in using estimating software such as Houz Pro and Quickbooks is preferred.Prior experience working on construction sites is advantageous for understanding project requirements.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and team members.Join our team as an Estimator where your expertise will contribute significantly to our project's success while fostering a collaborative work environment!
