Higher Education Administration Ed.D. * Speech-Language Pathology B.S. Ed. M.Ed. denotes programs that are 95%-100% online Job Summary The Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Speech-Language Pathology (CHS) in the College of Education (COE) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach classes in our programs. These positions may be available every semester. Required Qualifications Master's Degree (SLPA BSEd; Clinical Courses), EdS (Counseling MEd, SLPA MEd), or EdD/PhD (SLPA MEd, Counseling MEd, Counseling EdD, HESA) in one of our department areas: Counseling, Higher Education, or Speech-Language Pathology. Degree requirements depend on the level and type of courses taught. Typically terminal degree in the profession is required to teach advance level courses such as the MEd academic courses, EdS, and EdD. Work experience in one of these three areas. Preferably 2 years. Knowledge of and a willingness to learn effective practices for teaching and/or supervision. Preferred Qualifications Education Specialist Degree in one of our department areas. Supervision experience Experience teaching in a fully online or hybrid environment. Familiarity and experience with practitioner certification requirements in Georgia and nationally.
