Part-time Female Sunday Caregiver

About myself and the caregiving job: I’m a fun and lively 26 year old psychology graduate with a master's degree in clinical psychology. I have muscular dystrophy and use a power wheelchair for mobility. I attended Cal Lutheran University and now live with family in Ventura, CA. I'm looking for someone available to work Sundays 9AM-9PM every weekend. My caregiver will need to sign up with In-home supportive services (IHSS) and total pay after being supplemented will be $21.50/hr. Reliability, communication skills, and emotional stability are critical to this job. This caregiving job is in a comfortable yet structured environment. The days can be busy but there is usually some downtime/personal time. I hope to meet you soon! Job Responsibilities Include Providing Assistance With: Showering Dressing Toileting Administering medication Meal preparation Housekeeping/chores Picking up medications and groceries Transportation via wheelchair van Accompanying me on errands, appointments, outings, and adventures Other basic activities of daily living Qualifications: At least 21 years of age 6+ months of caregiving experience Able to speak fluent English Able to independently and manually transfer 60 lbs Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving a wheelchair van Able to pass a LiveScan background check Authorized to work in the U.S. Highly Dependable Able to implement feedback Vaccinated for COVID-19 and the flu (or ability to get vaccinated) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.50 per hour Benefits Paid sick time Paid training Application Question(s): Are you available to work every Sunday 8AM to 7PM?
